Summer Reading Lists

Congratulations on your acceptance to La Salle Catholic College Preparatory. We look forward to meeting you in the fall. In order to help prepare you for high school, we ask that all incoming ninth graders choose ONE NOVEL from the list below to read over the summer months. During the first week of school in the fall, all La Salle students will meet in book groups to discuss the books they read. Please come to school prepared to discuss topics such as your favorite part of the novel, the characters, the conflict, the action, and the writing.
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a message for Victoria McDonald, Librarian or Paul Dreisbach, English Department Chair. The number is (503) 659-4155.
